Wueeeh the idea of pregnancy now makes me question the idea of masculinity. So now that you married a nurturer who doesn't have to provide, you have to work as usual till 8 months because now you can't expect Providence. In that case do we ask friends and family to pay bills and take care of maternity charges?? And still take care and support you after birth?? And babies are expensive. The idea of of a man who cannot provide and protect only makes sense where there are no kids involved. Otherwise, 😊😊😊😊. We all have choices ladies. Now here is where we have theory and what actually happens.

I am glad that women who came before us fought for the right to education and the right to work. Without that, the only choice would have been to rely on a man 100%, which would mean giving away my freedom. Working (outside the home) gets me paid for what I have rightly earned, and no one can claim the right to control that, unless I let them do so. This money gives me freedom to make choices in a way that I could not, if I had to borrow money, or get a monthly allowance from a man. Even if I got a dollar-billionaire husband, I would still build something of my own, even if it is an online business or a flexible consultancy job, or I could run the philanthropy part of his career life (like a non-profit). Also, if we did not get the right to paid work, I would be labouring on a farm, tending to goats and cows and many kids, in a small village close to where I was born.

question, is violence the reason that makes you avoid being masculine? Is violence the norm? If its not the norm, you should change yourself not the world. Not wanting kids is okay, if it's not founded by the basic fact you don't want masculine responsibilities that you expected your dad to have instead of being violent.

This cognitive burden can be exhausting and taxing on mental health. most employers don't give enough credit to women's professional achievements and most times women get paid less compared to their male colleagues.
